The Redwood Group and Agriforce Seed Partner to Offer Pulse Program to Western Nebraska Growers

Venango, Nebraska, Dec. 15, 2017 – AgriForce Seed, LLC and The Redwood Group, LLC announced today the formation of a strategic partnership that will offer marketing options for peas and legumes to Nebraska producers.

“Together, Redwood and AgriForce will provide producers with additional pricing options during the non-peak growing season. Combining the expertise of AgriForce and Redwood will give producers confidence to plant, harvest and grow pulse crops after their traditional harvest season,” stated Jeff Olsen, CEO and President of AgriForce Seed, LLC.

“Western Nebraska producers now have a certified seed dealer to source their needs with a purchase program that will reduce the risk of fluctuating prices. We are exited to offer producers new options to supplement the quality of service we currently provide,” said Steve Tucker, General Manager of AgriForce Seed, LLC.

“I look forward to continuing our relationship with Agriforce. They are a proven business with strong roots in the local community. This partnership further expands Redwood’s integration into the pulse industry at the local level,” said Mike Kincaid, President of The Redwood Group, LLC.

AgriForce Seed has provided quality yellow pea seed for the high plains region for the past 4 years. It is expanding its offerings to Chickpeas or Garbanzo Bean seed to provide even more profitable options to the area. “Pulse Crops are big and the demand for plant based proteins are really starting to explode in North America,” said Tucker. “Our goal is to provide an alternative for profitable specialty crops for our area. Partnering with the Redwood Group opens up a lot of possibilities.”
